Education and development of teaching staff in the organization of merged kindergartens

The thesis deals with the topic "Training and development of teaching staff in the organization of merged kindergartens". The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyze the educational needs of teaching staff in kindergartens in the context of their further education and to propose a concept of further education of teaching staff of the organization. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts and describes the system education, forms and methods of educational development of the staff of the selected organization. The thesis describes the importance of lifelong learning in the framework of continuing education of teaching staff, then the concept of who is a teaching staff, what is education and learning, human resources and their management. The thesis introduces formal, non- formal and informal adult education. It describes, among other things, the legislative framework for continuing education of teaching staff. The practical part follows the theoretical part and the research investigation is based on it, for which the form of an anonymous questionnaire was used. ICT and its use in the work of school catering manager

The bachelor thesis on a topic "ICT and its use at work of school catering manager" in its theoretic part deals with history, selection of specific programmes, their development and manager's acquisition of professional knowledge about information communication technology. The school catering managers' characteristic highlights their professional growth in an area of financing of school catering operation, extensive administration processing by means of ICT brings time saving in their manager position. ICT is a necessary implement for internal and external communication in the whole area of catering. Their ability to improve themselves in modern information technology, to acquire new information, is perceived as lifelong learning. The research part of the thesis is concerned with the structure of respondents, their satisfaction with applied software and ability to use internet and other information technologies at their work which leads to services improvement and contributes to time saving in school catering manager's working hours in different sorts of facilities in the Czech republic.
Strategies for Overcoming Barriers to Participation in Adult Education

This thesis deals with the issue of barriers to participation in adult education. Survey, which investigates the strategies used for overcoming the barriers to participation in adult education by parents on parental leave, has been prepared on the basis of the contemporary theoretical knowledge on barriers to participation in adult education and inequalities in participation in adult education. Parents on parental leave are one of the groups with uneven access to adult education and they are deterred from participation in education because of situational barriers. Research participants (n = 6, M = 34.5) participated in semi-structured interview, which consists of seven topics related to the respondent's personal history, his academic and professional career and the circumstances of his life. Based on the data, the conditions and mechanisms that help to overcome group-specific barriers to participation in adult education were identified. On the basis of the common elements of respondents' answers the economically oriented strategy for overcoming barriers and the alternative strategy for overcoming barriers were defined. Tomáš Kolomazník Název práce: Bariéry dalšího vzdělávání nezaměstnaných z hlediska věku ohrožených na trhu práce Abstract The thesis "Barriers to continuing education of the unemployed in the age groups endangered in the labor market" examines the barriers to continuing education in unemployed groups of age 15-25 and 50-64 in the Czech Republic, both of which are often referred to as disadvantaged in the labor market. These age groups are characterized by a low rate of participation in continuing education, while having very specific needs and problems. The aim of this work is to identify the most frequent barriers in the education of the above-mentioned groups, to find out the differences between them and to explore their sociodemographic predictors. For the statistical analysis, data from the Kooperace research conducted by the Fund of Further Education was used. The first chapter defines the concepts of adult education, disadvantaged groups in labor market and introduces different concepts of barriers to education. Priorities of education and development of pedagogical staff in the kindergartens of Central Bohemia region

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the priorities of education and development of pedagogical staff in kindergartens of the Central Bohemian region. The theoretical part consists of definition of key words followed by the analysis of state educational dokuments which are divided into strategic, curricular and legislative. In this analysis, the indexed terms and priorities of each document are described. The outputs are given in the end of the chapter. Following part is devoted to the strategy of staff management with identification and analysis of educational needs, plan of education, its realization and assessment. The practical part contains methods of questionnaire survey. The survey is given to teachers and directors of kindergartens in Central Bohemia who summarize their own priorities in education. The analysis of documents of eight selected Central Bohemian kindergartens deals with the individual strategies of management of pedagogical staff education. Also, the semi- structured interviews with the school directors were carried out. Finally, the thesis offers several recommendations which are based on the research. This graduation thesis is focused on the issues of cooperation between teachers at the elementary school. The theoretical part is occupied with concept attributes of school like teaching organization and also is dedicated to factors which noticeably influence the cooperation of teachers in the school. The empirical part has character of more case studies which discuss the strong and weak parts of the cooperation between teachers which were researched at four elementary schools.
